Presbyterian Senior High School, Bompata runs its public website at presecb.edu.gh and its student information system on Skuul - news, staff, academic and community pages for the public, and results and records for students, from one dashboard.
A senior high school answers to two audiences online. Parents, prospective students and old students want news and information about the school; students and staff need results and records. Run as a separate website and a separate records system, the two drift apart - and the website is usually the one that goes stale.
Rather than build a one-off website, the school runs on Skuul. It has its own isolated school on the platform, with its own crest, colours and .edu.gh address, so the public website and the student information system share one set of records and one place to manage them.
The public site at presecb.edu.gh carries the school's news and announcements alongside its staff, academic and community pages, and links straight into the SIS portal from every page. Students activate access to their result notifications from the website itself, and the content is published from the same Skuul dashboard the school office uses.
News, announcements and pages for staff, academics and the school community, on the school's own domain.
The student information system, reached from the site's navigation.
Students activate lifetime access to result notifications from the home page.
Crest, colours and photography that are the school's, not a template's.
Presbyterian SHS, Bompata keeps its public website and its student records in one system: the site stays current because it is run from the same place as the school's own work, and students reach their results from the school's own address. It is the same school whose campus network we designed and deployed.
